The Treasury Management (TM) Sales Team Lead, who reports to the Director of Treasury Management Sales, is responsible for TM cross sell, growth and retention of their individual portfolio as well as responsible for the sales efforts and success of their assigned Team. The Team Leader manages the regional/local market team providing guidance, coaching and assistance to the Treasury Management Sales Officers (TMSOs) and Sales Associates (SAs) — delivering an exceptional customer experience while maximizing results, mitigating risk and promoting career advancement. The Team Lead also develops and maintains trusted relationships with Market Leadership, Relationship Managers, Service, Product and Implementation teams.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Responsible for individual and team Treasury Management sales activities, including development of new Treasury Management relationships, cross sell to existing relationships and ongoing consultative support and retention of Treasury Management clients

· Leads assigned TM Sales team to deliver business growth objectives and achieve anticipated performance

· Works with Director of TM Sales to clearly communicate the vision, goals and expectations for the team

· Works with Director of TM Sales to develop sales strategies within the market (expansion and retention) to drive key metrics growth and monitors performance of team members

· Builds collaborative internal relationships with Market Leadership, Relationship Managers and other internal partners

· Participates in partner meetings and communicates key Treasury Management messages in a timely and accurate manner

· Escalates client issues and leverages the appropriate resources to champion results

· Demonstrates exceptional leadership, follow-up and project management skills and leads/executes special project and assignments as required

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Oversees daily sales activities to drive strategic business objectives, identify and manage risk and adhere to regulatory requirements.

· Monitors and analyzes performance metrics to evaluate effectiveness relative to key goals and objectives

· Implements strategies and tactics to improve team performance, efficiency and enhance partnerships

· Assists in recruiting, training, coaching, monitoring performance and providing feedback and recognition to motivate sales officers and sales associates

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.

· Bachelor’s Degree, MBA or Masters in Finance or related field

· Strong experience selling cash management products and in-depth knowledge of such products (5 - 7 years industry experience)

· 2 years sales management experience preferred with a documented track record of success

· Demonstrated leader with the ability to motivate others and provide a strategic vision Excellent verbal and communication skills

· Strong coaching skills, ability to network, recruit, train, and develop field sales officers

COMPUTER AND OFFICE EQUIPMENT SKILLS

Microsoft Office suite

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS (Ex: CPA, Series 6 or 7 license, etc)

Certified Treasury Management Professional designation (CTP) a plus
