Become a part of our caring community and help us put health firstThe Value Based Programs Analyst (Professional 2) supports successful value-based provider relationships with a focus on improving the provider experience and achieving path-to-value goals. The Value Based Programs Professional 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.Humana is seeking an individual to provide support for its expansion of value-based programs, working heavily with internal and external stakeholders to achieve success in the value-based space. This individual will be responsible for assisting in the development, implementation and valuation of new programs, as well as the maintenance of current programs.

Utilizes SQL, SAS, Power BI, and other technical skills to drive process improvement and assist markets in managing their value-based relationships

Works inter-departmentally with service fund and accounts payable teams to track and maintain the financials of our value-based programs

Supports provider engagement goals by meeting with program participants to discuss reporting and program performance

Assists in producing reports and completing ad hoc requests using Excel, PowerPoint, SAS and other various analytical tools

Provides support for current value-based agreements

Aids in the evaluation and expansion of all value-based programs into new markets and business areas

Experience with SAS and/or SQL

Experience with data interpretation and analysis

Ability to put context around data and find root cause issues specific to data

Strong attention to detail

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (ability to build pivot tables)

Experience with PowerBI and/or Tableau

Experience with Azure

Experience with medical claims

Strong written and oral communication skills

To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates' ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates must meet the following criteria:

At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended to support Humana applications, per associate.

Wireless, Wired Cable or DSL connection is suggested.

Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if they provide an optimal connection for associates. The use of these methods must be approved by leadership. (See Wireless, Wired Cable or DSL Connection in Exceptions, Section 7.0 in this policy.)

Humana will not pay for or reimburse Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates for any portion of the cost of their self-provided internet service, with the exception of associates who live or work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota. Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.

Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
