In this role, you will be responsible for managing General Ledger operations, taxation matters, and financial reporting activities, while ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial records across multiple legal entities within the APAC region. This role supports timely and accurate financial reporting, compliance with local statutory and tax requirements, adherence to accounting standards, and the smooth execution of month-end and year-end close processes. The position requires close collaboration with external teams, and business stakeholders to support the financial operations of 12 APAC entities.As an Accounts Executive, you will:General Ledger & Financial AccountingMaintain accurate general ledger records and prepare journal entries for multiple APAC entities.Ensure financial transactions are recorded in accordance with IFRS & GAAP, local accounting standards, and company policies.Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate and resolve discrepancies on a timely basis.Review and analyze general ledger accounts to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial information.Support intercompany accounting activities, including reconciliations and balance confirmations.Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions across entities, ensuring accurate accounting, timely settlement, and compliance with group policies, transfer pricing requirements, and statutory regulations.Month-End & Financial ReportingSupport month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities across 12 legal entities in the APAC region.Prepare financial reports, schedules, and supporting documentation for group and statutory reporting requirements.Perform ledger reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and foreign currency revaluations where required.Ensure all reporting deadlines are met and financial results are delivered accurately and on time.Assist with variance analysis and provide explanations for significant movements in account balances.Tax & CompliancePrepare and coordinate SST, GST, VAT, withholding tax, and other indirect tax filings in accordance with local statutory requirements.Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.Support internal and external audits by preparing audit schedules and responding to information requests.Assist with statutory financial statement preparation and local compliance requirements.Business & Stakeholder SupportCollaborate closely with Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Treasury, Payroll, and other teams to ensure the completeness and accuracy of financial records.Provide financial information and analysis to support business decisions and operational requirements.Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and system efficiencies.Support finance transformation and process improvement initiatives where required.
