With a range of offerings from upscale to luxury, our Lounges receive rave reviews from both our customers and our team.What are the roles?Our Cooks provide service between our a la carte and buffet environments. All our roles are focused on exciting our guests with flair and enthusiasm and demonstrating a genuine passion for customer service and the kitchen. Reporting directly to the Sous Chef, you will form a key part of a team who are responsible for providing high quality product to our lounge passengers.What do I need?Support the Head Chef in Food preparation, ordering and team development to exacting Lounge standards.Ensure strict stock rotation and minimum wastage. Have stock control procedures implemented and maintained.Responsibility for your designated area, as well as anticipation of guests needsPrepare and present with flair, all menu items for buffet, a la carte and tray service as required to Lounge standards and within budget controlsEnsure Food safety standards are met in all stages of food cycle- delivery, storage, preparation, cookery, service and rotation.Skills and experience-Have a confident and outgoing personalityAn appropriate knowledge of food safety standardsExceptional Personal presentation standardsAn appreciation and understanding of wine and food with solid experience in your previous workplace.
