Executive Director, Global Payment Services

Provide strategic leadership for the Global Payments function, building a scalable, resilient and globally consistent operating model that supports business growth.Drive the technology, automation and transformation roadmap, partnering with Technology and Product teams to increase straight-through processing, reduce manual intervention and strengthen controls.Lead bank connectivity, payment platform enhancements and integration initiatives, ensuring efficient and resilient connectivity across internal and external banking systems.Maintain executive oversight of global payment operations, ensuring the timely, accurate and secure execution of client, investor, fund, treasury and corporate payments.Establish global standards, procedures, controls, SLAs and KPIs to drive service quality, regulatory compliance and a reduction in payment errors, failures and operational incidents.Lead the transition and integration of payment activities across the organisation into the Global Payments function, ensuring consistent standards and seamless service delivery.Build and develop a high-performing global leadership team, with clear accountability, performance management, coaching and succession planning.Lead capacity planning, workforce and location strategy, creating an operating model capable of absorbing growth without linear headcount increases.Oversee payment investigations, operational incidents, third-party providers, business continuity and operational resilience, acting as the senior escalation point for critical matters.Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and industry requirements, including AML, sanctions, financial crime, data protection and payment standards.Partner with business and client teams to support client onboarding, product expansion and evolving payment requirements.Provide meaningful management information and risk reporting covering performance, capacity, productivity and operational risk.Monitor the following KPI’s to measure productivity: Payment volume per FTE STP Rates Automation Adoption Capacity Utilization Reduction in Manual Touch Points Use of Location Strategy and Operating Model design to manage costs and absorb growth
