Finance Manager

Join our Ezypay team as Finance Manager in Kuala Lumpur to make a real impact every day. This role sits within our growing payments business. With Ezypay now part of Xplor Technologies, we're integrating world-class subscription management and embedded payments capabilities into our platform, and there's meaningful work ahead.You will help us build a high-performing finance function that supports Ezypay's continued growth across Asia Pacific.As a Finance Manager, you will: Lead, mentor and develop the accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.Establish clear performance expectations and drive capability development across the finance function.Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations across the Group, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, treasury, fixed assets and month-end/quarter-end/year-end close.Review and approve journals, reconciliations and key accounting schedules prepared by the team.Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly financial results, balance sheet reconciliations and management reporting.Own the statutory reporting process, including external audits, corporate tax, GST/VAT/SST, withholding taxes and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, company policies and statutory requirements.Partner closely with the Finance Director on budgeting, cash flow management, financial planning and key finance initiatives.Lead the implementation of finance process improvements, system enhancements and automation initiatives to improve efficiency and strengthen controls.Build strong relationships with auditors, tax advisors, bankers, regulators and internal stakeholders.Support finance transformation projects, including ERP implementations and integration initiatives.Act as the primary escalation point for technical accounting matters and provide guidance to the accounting team.Deputise for the Finance Director when required, ensuring continuity of finance operations.
