Marine Mechanic – Seas the Day Charters (USVI)

Seas the Day Charters, the Virgin Islands’ premier luxury charter company, is seeking an experienced Marine Mechanic to join our dynamic team in St. Thomas. We operate a fleet of power and sailing vessels providing unforgettable experiences across the U.S. and British Virgin Islands.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience with marine diesel engines and vessel support systems, including fuel, electrical, cooling, and hydraulic systems. Responsibilities include routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure our vessels operate safely and efficiently.

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years’ hands-on experience as a marine mechanic or engineer

Expertise with Yanmar, Cummins, or Volvo Penta diesel engines

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

Knowledge of 12V/24V marine electrical systems and plumbing

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and team-oriented
