We focus on preserving habitats, water quality, stakeholder engagement and cultural resources, promoting a holistic approach to environmental impact management at every project stage.AECOM is looking for an experienced and motivated leader, based in Canberra, to lead our environment team - Contaminated Land and Environmental Impact Assessment to deliver and grow a strong pipeline of growth projects across a diversity of market sectors.How you’ll make a difference Lead and inspire a high performing Environment team, fostering a culture of collaboration, technical excellence, safety and quality across project delivery.Drive strategic growth by building strong client relationships, supporting business development initiatives and contributing to winning proposals and bids.Oversee the successful delivery of Contaminated Land and/or Environmental Impact Assessments projects, providing technical guidance and ensuring outcomes meet client and business expectations.Mentor and develop team members at all levels, supporting technical capability, career growth and future leadership development.Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, using strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills to resolve complex issues.Take a proactive approach to operational and project challenges, using sound judgement to anticipate risks, solve problems and drive continuous improvement.
