As a Territory Manager supporting our Fiberon business, an industry leader in composite decking and outdoor living products, you will help grow our business by building strong, lasting relationships with distributors, dealers, contractors, builders, and other channel partners throughout South Carolina. With the majority of business concentrated along the state's coastal markets, you'll identify opportunities to expand our presence while delivering solutions that help customers grow their businesses.In this collaborative, customer-focused role, you'll cultivate trusted partnerships, support customer success, and execute thoughtful territory strategies that contribute to sustainable growth. Working closely with your Regional Sales Manager and cross-functional partners, you'll leverage your local market knowledge and industry relationships to strengthen customer partnerships, identify new opportunities, and position Fiberon as the preferred composite decking solution throughout the territory.This role is ideal for someone with a background and knowledge of 2 step distribution and building materials who enjoys connecting with people, building long-term relationships, and creating mutually beneficial partnerships. You'll work closely with customers to understand their business goals, identify opportunities, and provide consultative solutions while representing one of the industry's most recognized outdoor living brands.We value individuals who can Think Fast by identifying opportunities and solving customer challenges; Work It Together by building trusted partnerships across teams and customers; and Make the Hard Call by making thoughtful decisions that create long-term value.POSITION LOCATION: This is a field-based position supporting our Fiberon business throughout Coastal South Carolina. Candidates must reside within the assigned territory to effectively support customers and business objectives with a preferred location of Charleston, SC or Myrtle Beach, SC.Regular travel throughout the territory is required, including approximately 4-8 overnight trips per month. This role requires up to 50% travel, including frequent driving. A company expense card is provided for travel-related expenses.What you will be doingBuild and strengthen relationships with distributors, dealers, contractors, builders, and other channel partners throughout your territory.Partner with customers to identify opportunities that support profitable growth for both their business and ours.Increase market share by expanding dealer engagement, increasing product placement, and driving adoption among contractors and builders.Collaborate with your Regional Sales Manager to develop and execute annual territory business plans aligned with strategic priorities.Lead Joint Business Planning (JBP) conversations with distributors and key partners to establish shared goals and identify growth opportunities.Work alongside customers to optimize distribution strategies and expand product presence within the local market.Deliver engaging product presentations, educational sessions, and training that build product knowledge and customer confidence.Utilize CRM tools and company sales processes to effectively manage customer relationships, opportunities, and territory activity.Share customer feedback, market insights, and competitive intelligence with internal teams to help shape future strategies and programs.Collaborate with Marketing, Product Management, Customer Service, and Sales leadership to support product launches, promotions, and customer initiatives.Represent Fortune Brands Innovations with professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience.Manage territory travel and administrative responsibilities while supporting overall business objectives.
