A&P Mechanic

Aerotek Aviation, on behalf of it's client is seeking to hire a Licensed Aircraft Mechanic for a contract to hire position with one of the worlds biggest producers of aircrafts in Dallas, Texas. This is a long-term contract to hire opportunity. Must be open on shift.Description:Jets they are working on- Challenger 350, Challenger 3500, Challenger 650, Global 5500, Global 6500, Global 7600, Global 8000Participate in 5-S activities. Perform all work in a safe and timely mannerTroubleshoot, repair, install, inspect and perform maintenance on customer aircraftPerform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as requiredOperate ground support equipmentAssist with aircraft component repairPerform mechanical / electrical removals and installationsPerform other duties as assignedShift: 1st shift Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm2nd Shift Monday - Thursday- 2:30 - 12:30 PM plus OT4th Shift (Friday - Sunday) - 6:00 AM - 6:00 PMPay:2-3yrs exp $30-353-5yrs exp $35-345+ yrs exp $40-52/hr (50/hr is the top pay rate for local and 52/hr is the top pay for per diem candidates.Must have own tools: Must have them etched and shadowedEligibility requirements apply to somebenefits and maydepend on your job classification andlength of employment.
