job detailsAre you looking to get back into the workforce? Look no further we have a temporary WFH position that requires research to resolve credit balance accounts resulting from payment posting. This position is a flex shift with a start time as early as 6am or 9am Monday through Friday. The applicant must live within the state of Texas, but closer to the sourrounding area of Dallas/Fort Worth.salary: $22 - $25 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 4 PMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilitiesThe applicant must live within the state of Texas, but closer to the sourrounding area of Dallas/Fort Worth.Reviews patient accounts for incorrect posting which may include: contacting insurance companies, patients andresearching insurance payments to identify and correct posting errors; reviewing credit reports and age reports toidentify posting problems; and completing charge reversals. Issues refunds to patients and third party carriers for overpayment or duplicate payment. Identifies and resolves credits posted to patient accounts; corrects overpayment. Batches all paperwork and balances all batches. Transfers payments between invoices and/or accounts. Performs other adjustments or corrections to patient accounts as required. Posts payments to patient accounts. Duties performed may include one or more of the following core functions: (a) Directly interacting with or caringfor patients; (b) Directly interacting with or caring for human-subjects research participants; (c) Regularlymaintaining, modifying, releasing or similarly affecting patient records (including patient financial records); or (d)Regularly maintaining, modifying, releasing or similarly affecting human-subjects research records.
