Alpha & Omega Staffing Services is currently seeking an Accounting Clerk and a Property & Casualty CSR. The Accounting Clerk role is an entry-level position responsible for assisting the accounting department in reviewing and accurately posting timely financial records for the organization. CSR will utilize thorough knowledge, good judgment and a paperless system to service our clients. Perform the required work in a timely, accurate and detailed manner. These are Monday through Friday position's 8am to 5pm with occasional overtime.

Accounting Clerk Functions

Use a variety of vendor and proprietary systems to handle your daily job duties

Analyze and verify various financial documents

Record financial transactions in an efficient, accurate and effective manner.

Maintain and reconcile accounts properly.

Attention to Detail - Approach work in a meticulous, thorough, and detailed manner.

Deadline Oriented - Ability to meet deadlines and juggle multiple priorities.

Time Management - Prioritize work to meet goals or deadlines.

Data Entry Management - Implement efficient data entry procedures.

Provide customer service over the phone for clients and insured’s

Provide phone and email customer service for billing questions and vendor inquiries.

Reporting Skills – carry out procedures to produce automated reports that depict financial transactions.

Maintain internal controls within the accounting function.

Confidentiality – maintain confidentiality with regards to all information within our systems.

Assist in month end closing process.

Process all requests received via email, mail, fax and phone

Review and handle daily transactions including but not limited to check processing, payments, corrections, changes

to client and/or vendor accounts, business/vendor account research, etc.

Record and maintain all accounts receivable and/or payable payment records.

CSR Functions

Learn all CSR duties including those handled by Resource Pro, (RSP) a company we outsource to in China

Provide excellent service to our agents, insurance carriers and internal employees. This includes service over the

phone, inbound/outbound written email correspondence and file research and documentation.

Must be able to prioritize daily work in a paperless environment to ensure deadlines and service standards are met.

Use our agency management system (Quote Binder 2) to process daily tasks.

Carefully follow procedures for each task while paying close attention to details and accuracy.

Communicate with the Senior CSR, CSR Supervisor or Underwriter regarding any irregularities.

Cross train in all other CSR & RSP duties and act as a back up to team members as needed.

Index and assigning incoming mail

Attend meetings as required

Provide guidance and training to others as needed

Must have or be willing to obtain a Property & Casualty and Surplus Lines license within the specified deadlines.

Must obtain the required number of continued education credits to renew licenses every 2 years

Requirements:

Must have 2 valid forms of ID

Must have a high school diploma

Must be able to start immediately

Must have at least 1 year prior experience

Must have a resume
