Description Robert Half is looking to hire an Accounting Clerk, whose duties will be matching invoices to purchase orders/ vouchers, data entry, and assisting with Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R). This is a short-term contract / temporary to hire employment opportunity based in the Fort Worth, Texas area. Help Accounts Payable: A/P invoice matching & filing, vendor invoices and disbursement filing
Report financial facts to journals and ledgerst
Order documents that require knowledge in determining proper classification of accounting codes and expenditure codes
General accounting: help with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, other ad hoc projects
Square up discrepancies by checking all possible sources of disagreement, reconstructing probable actions, and recognizing the effect on other accounts; prepare correction documents as required
Put together statements and reports that require utilization of an assortment of sources
Contribute to Accounts Receivable: process daily invoices/credit, apply cash receipt, and help with collection of past due balance Requirements - Skilled in Spreadsheet and ERP system
Ability to handle multiple tasks to prioritize needs and expedite tasks upon request
AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred
Experience with high volume data entry
Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)
Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)
Proficiency in Receptionist Duties
Accounts Receivable (AR) experience
Expertise in Administrative Assistance
