Description We are offering an opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in Midland, Texas. The role involves handling various accounting tasks, focusing specifically on invoice processing. The selected candidate will join our team in a contract role, providing vital support to our accounting department.Responsibilities Assist in the process of submitting invoices via different portals, including Open Invoice and Ariba Provide support in account reconciliation tasks to ensure accurate financial records Assist in managing accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely and accurate payment processing Perform data entry tasks related to accounting processes and procedures Utilize various software tools such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for invoice processing and account management Ensure accurate coding of invoices for appropriate categorization and tracking Help in resolving any discrepancies or issues related to invoices Participate in the billing process, ensuring accurate and timely issuance of billings to customers Collaborate with the team in the preparation and analysis of various accounting reports Adhere to and help improve the company's accounting policies and procedures. Requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks for various accounting tasks Experience in using accounting software such as Oracle and SAP Skills in account reconciliation to ensure accurate financial records Familiarity with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes Ability to handle billing duties and invoice processing efficiently Experience in data entry for maintaining and updating accounting records Knowledge of Ariba, Open Invoice, and other accounting systems for invoice coding Capability to adhere to all company policies and accounting principles.
