Accounting Clerk

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in Odessa, Texas. This role operates within the oilfield industry and requires someone with a strong background in Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R), along with the ability to perform basic office tasks. Responsibilities: Accurately process customer credit applications Maintain precise records of customer credit Resolve any inquiries related to customer credit Monitor customer credit accounts and take action when necessary to collect overdue payments Perform high-volume data entry tasks related to accounting functions Handle accounts payable and receivable operations Use QuickBooks and Open Invoice for various tasks (training will be provided if necessary) Code invoices and resolve any discrepancies Manage the billing process using specific billing software Perform other basic office tasks as needed. Requirements Proficiency in 10-Key Accounting and other Accounting Functions. Experience in managing Accounting Operations. Expertise in handling Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP). Strong Data Entry skills, including Numeric Data Entry and High-Volume Data Entry. Ability to Perform Data Entry tasks accurately and efficiently. Experience in Code Invoices, Coding Invoices, and Invoice Entry. Knowledge of handling Invoice Discrepancies, Invoice Data, and Invoice Coding. Familiarity with High-Volume Invoicing, Customer Invoices, and Billing. Proficiency in using Billing software and managing Monthly Billing.
