Description We are seeking an Accounting Clerk to join our team in Plano, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for various administrative and data entry-related tasks. This is an on-site role and offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Accurately process and log checks into a spreadsheet Perform data entry tasks with proficiency in Microsoft Excel Assist team in managing and organizing financial data Maintain accurate records and ensure timely updates on customer accounts Resolve customer inquiries related to their accounts Collaborate with the team to manage workloads efficiently Utilize your skills in Data Entry, Microsoft Excel, and Check Processing to perform tasks effectively Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions as needed Be adaptable to change in staff and management dynamics.Requirements Proficiency in Data Entry is essential. Strong command over Microsoft Excel is required. Experience in Check Processing is necessary. Candidates should have a strong understanding of general accounting principles. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are required. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively is expected. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. Experience in an accounting or financial role is preferred. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions are necessary. A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
