Description We are in search of an Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team, located in Galveston, Texas. This role requires effective leadership and involves overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, managing recurring tasks, and ensuring high levels of client responsiveness and deadline adherence. Responsibilities include: Overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department Managing and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) Ensuring all recurring tasks are entered by the end of each month Growing and effectively managing the accounting department Ensuring high levels of client responsiveness and adherence to deadlines Overseeing client onboarding processes to ensure timely onboarding Ensuring 90% of client queries are answered within 1 business day Ensuring 98% of deadlines are met by staff Monitoring the average realized hourly rate by client to ensure profitability standards are met Using accounting software and tools (e.g., QuickBooks, ClickUp, Helpscout) efficiently for tasksThis role requires proficiency in Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, BlackLine, Concur, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Auditing, and Billing Functions. Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role within the Accounting field. Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential. Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services would be beneficial. Knowledge of BlackLine software is required. Experience with Concur software is advantageous. Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems is essential. Ability to handle all Accounting Functions effectively. Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). Proficiency in Auditing processes and procedures. Experience in overseeing Billing Functions.
