Accounting Specialist

Description We are in search of an Accounting Specialist to join our team located in Farmers Branch, Texas. This role is within the industry of financial services, offering a short-term contract employment opportunity. As an Accounting Specialist, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of managing various accounting functions, handling both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), and utilizing multiple accounting software systems. Responsibilities: Handle accounting functions including auditing and billing functions Utilize accounting software systems for efficient and accurate accounting management Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) ensuring timely processing and accuracy Work with ADP - Financial Services for seamless financial operations Use Ceridian and Concur for effective resource planning and management Implement ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for efficient integration of business processes Regularly review customer accounts, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accurate Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally Monitor customer accounts, identifying any issues and taking appropriate action when necessary. Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Experience with ADP - Financial Services Familiarity with Ceridian and Concur Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning Ability to perform Accounting Functions effectively Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Knowledge of Auditing procedures Familiarity with Billing Functions Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team Excellent communication and organizational skills Attention to detail and problem-solving ability Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred Relevant work experience in an accounting role is required Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
