Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are in search of an Accounts Payable Clerk in the Real Estate & Property industry, located in San Marcos, California. This role is an opportunity for a contractual hire with the potential to transition into a more permanent position. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, your primary responsibilities would revolve around managing invoices, handling data entry tasks, and using MS Excel for various projects.Responsibilities: Oversee the grading and approval of invoices in a timely and accurate manner Handle the mailing of checks to respective parties as needed Perform various data entry tasks, ensuring precision and consistency Utilize Microsoft Excel for managing and updating data efficiently Participate in additional data entry projects as required Code invoices correctly in accordance with company standards Ensure proper filing and organization of financial documents Monitor and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to invoices Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth financial operations. Requirements Applicant must have a keen interest in the real estate and property industry. No previous work experience is required for this role. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is expected. The ability to accurately code invoices is a requirement. Applicant must demonstrate strong numeric data entry skills. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential. Applicant must be capable of working independently as well as in a team. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information is required. Familiarity with basic accounting principles and practices is desirable. A high school diploma or equivalent educational qualification is a minimum requirement. A positive attitude and willingness to learn is expected.
