Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are in search of an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Mesquite, Texas. The role will focus on maintaining and processing transactions, specifically relating to accounts payable and receivable. This role is in the industry of finance and accounting and will be located at our office premises. Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the process of customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer credit records Resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action when needed Perform account reconciliation tasks regularly to ensure accurate financial records Process and code invoices effectively Carry out check runs to ensure timely and accurate payments Utilize Microsoft Excel for data entry and other clerical tasks Utilize NetSuite for various financial transactions and record-keeping Perform invoice processing tasks in a timely and accurate manner.Requirements Must hold at least 2 years of experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or in a similar role Proficient in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP) Experience in Check Runs and Coding Invoices Skilled in Data Entry and Invoice Processing Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel Familiarity with NetSuite is required Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude Reliable, trustworthy, and committed to team's success Availability for immediate start is preferredRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
