Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Manager in Carrollton, Texas. The successful candidate will oversee a team, implement and optimize accounting systems, and utilize advanced analytical tools for data analysis and reporting. This role involves managing day-to-day operations as well as leading technical initiatives such as system implementation, process automation, and compliance with regulatory requirements. 100% ONSITE 5 days a week in Carrollton, TX 75006.Contract-to-hire Accounts Payable Manager:Responsibilities: Lead and mentor the accounts payable team, ensuring proficient handling of invoices, payments, and 1099 forms. Develop and refine procedures to streamline accounts payable processes, including the generation of 1099 forms, leveraging technological solutions for enhanced efficiency. Monitor vendor accounts meticulously, promptly addressing discrepancies, AP aging, and ensuring adherence to 1099 reporting standards and other regulatory requirements. Collaborate cross-functionally to align payment processes with organizational objectives, integrating advanced analytics to optimize decision-making. Conduct regular audits of accounts payable transactions, employing tools to maintain data integrity and regulatory compliance, particularly regarding 1099 reporting. Management of accounting software and systems integration, providing comprehensive training and support to staff. Implement KPIs to monitor invoice processing, payment approvals, and data entry, reducing manual errors and improving efficiency and reduce aging. Utilize advanced reporting and analytics tools to extract actionable insights from accounts payable data, facilitating informed decision-making and strategic planning. Manage payment schedules, maximizing discounts and minimizing late fees through precise financial management. Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging technical expertise to optimize accounts payable processes, enhance accuracy, and mitigate risks effectively.Requirements A minimum of 5 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) procedures and systems Experience in check processing and managing discrepancies Familiarity with expense reporting and Form 1099 Proven ability to enter and manage vendor invoices Experience in invoice approvals and coding invoices Ability to process vendor invoices efficiently and accurately Proficiency in vendor management and maintaining vendor files Experience in handling late fees and resolving related issues Strong organizational, time management and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in using Accounts Payable software and related tools Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is preferred.
