Description Our client in the Energy and Data Analytics industry is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist to join their finance department. This role will be responsible for the entire life cycle of accounts payable processing, including invoice coding, payment processing, account reconciliation, and customer service.Responsibilities:
Process, verify, and reconcile invoices, including coding for payment.
Perform timely and accurate account reconciliations to ensure financial integrity.
Maintenance of supplier master data in our ERP System to ensure accurate record-keeping.
Prepare detailed accounts payable reports for management review.
Execute three-way match (Invoice, Purchase Order, and Goods Receipts) for Accounts Payable invoices.
Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
Perform weekly payment runs to ensure bills are paid in a timely and accurate manner.
Investigate and resolve any vendor statement discrepancies and issues.
Monitor and respond to inquiries sent by suppliers and employees swiftly and professionally.
Assist in tax-related research and issues as needed.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Proven experience in an Accounts Payable role.
Proficiency in using financial software and ERP Systems.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, data entry, and financial reporting.
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Proven ability to handle confidential information.
