Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Conroe, Texas. This role is within the manufacturing industry where the selected candidate will be responsible for various tasks related to accounts payable and payroll processing. The role requires proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Accounts Payable, Check Processing, Payroll, and Invoice Processing.Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Specialist: Compile, process, and maintain accounts payable and payroll records for the manufacturing facility. Answer and maintain accounts payable files. Audit the accuracy of all purchase orders. Transfer weekly payroll data. Perform 3 match. Prepare journal entries for month-end close. Generate and distribute reports as needed.Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role. Proficient in Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze data. Experience in Check Processing is a must for managing company transactions. Knowledge of Payroll procedures and regulations is a plus. Proficient in Invoice Processing to ensure accurate and timely payments. Ability to multitask and prioritize work to meet deadlines. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
