Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Houston, Texas, 77047, United States. This role will be fully based in the workplace and is focused on managing full cycle AP tasks including invoicing and reconciliations. The industry of our business is gun manufacturing.Responsibilities: Efficiently handle full cycle accounts payable tasks Manage invoicing operations to ensure accuracy and timeliness Perform reconciliations of accounts to maintain accurate records Utilize Accounting Software Systems for various accounting functions Leverage your skills in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) to optimize processes Implement Account Coding for systematic and efficient record keeping Utilize ADP - Financial Services software for financial management tasks Use Concur for expense management and reporting Utilize your skills in Accrual Accounting for managing financial records Carry out Auditing tasks to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial operations Manage Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions for efficient fund transfer Use NetSuite for managing business processes and financials. Please note: This role requires the candidate to pass a background check. Requirements Proficiency in Account Coding and Accrual Accounting Strong knowledge of Accounting Software Systems Experience with ADP - Financial Services Proficient in using Concur and NetSuite Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning Skilled in Accounting Functions, specifically Accounts Payable (AP) Proven experience in Auditing Knowledge of Automated Clearing House (ACH) operations Able to perform all functions related to Accounts Payable Ability to work independently and as part of a team Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
