Description We are providing an opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in the Oil & Gas - Exploration & Production industry. The role is based in Addison, Texas, and offers a short term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: Ensure accurate and efficient processing of account payable transactions Manage and maintain comprehensive and accurate records of customer credit Respond to and resolve customer inquiries in a timely manner Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions when required Utilize accounting software systems for efficient account management Handle credit card transactions and ensure all relevant details are accurately recorded Perform regular audits to ensure compliance and accuracy Use Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools for effective management of accounting functions Work with ADP Financial Services for seamless accounting operations Utilize Account Coding and Concur for effective account management Requirements Proficiency in Account Coding is required. Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems is essential. Experience with ADP - Financial Services is necessary. Knowledge of Concur usage is important. Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is crucial. Ability to handle multiple Accounting Functions is required. Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary. Knowledge of Accrual Accounting is essential. Auditing skills are important. Experience with Automated Clearing House (ACH) is crucial.
