Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are offering a contract for a meticulous Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team based in San Antonio, Texas. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing, verifying and reconciling invoices, maintaining financial records, and handling accounts payable operations. Responsibilities: Efficiently handle high volume accounts payable transactions Verify, reconcile and process invoices for multiple communities, ensuring timely and accurate payments Maintain updated financial records and conduct monthly reconciliations Manage cash flow, receipts, budget, taxes, and other financial affairs of the organization Utilize RealPage (OneSite) software to manage accounts payable operations Prepare, distribute checks and process 1099 forms Handle sensitive and confidential information with utmost discretion Collaborate with clients through email correspondence, maintaining professionalism at all times. Requirements Applicant must have at least 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role. Proficiency in account coding is required. Experience with accounting software systems is mandatory. Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is necessary. Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems is a prerequisite. Must have a deep understanding of accounting functions. Experience in Accounts Payable (AP) is essential. Knowledge of accrual accounting is required. Auditing skills are necessary. Experience with Automated Clearing House (ACH) is required. Proficiency in using RealPage software is essential. Experience with OneSite software is a must.
