Accounts Receivable Analyst

Description We are in need of an Accounts Receivable Analyst in our retail branch located in Lewisville, Texas. The selected candidate will be a key player in our financial team and will be primarily tasked with processing and reviewing claim data, handling credit requests, and closely monitoring aged claims. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Review and input claim data from external claim specialist team Handle credit requests submitted by clients and open claims when necessary Closely monitor monthly aged claims to identify outstanding deductions Collaborate with Credit Collections Analyst and Credit Controller to devise plans for resolving outstanding deductions Ensure all duties assigned are executed efficiently Utilize skills in Accounts Receivable (AR) and Billing Functions to maintain accurate customer credit records Take appropriate actions based on customer account monitoring results. Requirements Possess a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field Proven experience in the field of accounts receivable Strong understanding of billing and financial concepts Proficient in using accounts receivable software as well as MS Office Suite Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Excellent analytical skills for managing large amounts of data Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation Experience in the retail industry is a plus.
