Pay Rate:The pay rate for this job is $16.50 / hourWhat you'll be doing as a Accounts Receivable Clerk:

Responsible for entering customer payments

Researching and reconciling discrepancies and credits on the customer account

Updating and maintaining all aspects of their customer account portfolio

Working closely with sales and various departments to keep accurate notes on customer account status for delivery information and account payment status.

Responsible for a high volume of customer accounts

Perform collection procedures Follow up and review accounts for compliance

Maintain an Account Portfolio of 1,000 accounts with accurate notes and terms for customers

Ensure that customer service is held to the highest standard, maintaining good working relationship

Ensure that customer accounts are reconciled and kept up to date with attention to detail and accuracy

Ensure that customer questions are answered timely

Accurately and effectively handle large volumes of orders and calls.

Ensure that customer service is held to the highest standard, maintaining good working relationship with outside and inside contacts

Responsible for problem solving with a positive and professional demeanor

High school diploma or equivalency plus 2 years of experience

Knowledge with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), federal regulatory guidelines, and organizational objectives

Proficiency using Microsoft Excel Able to work independently without supervision

Excellent accuracy and attention to detail skills to process large numbers of invoices

Strong communication skills Background check and drug testing required
