In this role, it will be critical for you to enter, post and reconcile batches, research and resolve customer A/R issues, prepare aging reports, place billing and collection calls, maintain cash receipts journal, and update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L. The Accounts Receivable Clerk role is a permanent position in the Fort Worth, Texas area.Major responsibilities
Post and balance financial information in a number of ledgers while reconciling bank accounts
Ensure the mission, values, and culture of the organization are supported, conveyed and reinforced
Verify documents and codes
Carry out general accounting tasks in accordance with standard procedures
Provide information as requested to shippers, customers, the sales/marketing department and other stake holders
Work with clients to solve payment issues; set up payment plans as needed
Handle monthly closings and annual reports, including processing payments and compiling segments in compliance with GAAP Requirements - Excellent attention to detail
Analytical skills in basic accounts receivable and accounting policy
B2B collections experience preferred
Expertise in Microsoft Excel
Proficiency in Aging Reports
Excel Formulas experience desired
Cash posting experience
Relevant experience in accounts receivable
Current and relevant ERP system experience
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting or related field
