Description Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to manage and oversee the company’s accounts receivable processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely collection of payments, maintaining financial records, and providing excellent customer service to our clients.Requirements Key Responsibilities:

Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.

Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivable data.

Prepare bills, invoices, and bank deposits.

Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.

Verify discrepancies and resolve clients’ billing issues.

Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients.

Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status.

Perform account reconciliations and maintain accounts receivable files and records.

Assist with month-end closing activities and prepare aging reports.

Communicate with clients regarding past due accounts and develop payment plans as necessary.

Assist with other accounting tasks and projects as needed.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred.

Minimum of 2 years of accounts receivable or general accounting experience.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).

Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
