What You’ll DoYou’ll care for and assess the outpatient and inpatient EP/CT patient population playing an integral role in the Cath Lab at Texas Health HEB. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in the Cath Lab that sees 10 to15 EP cases per week. Bachelor's Degree; Graduate of an accredited nursing program is required.
Master's Degree; Graduate of a Nurse Practitioner program is required.
Two (2) years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner is highly preferred.
NP Cardiac Cath Lab & Electrophysiology experience is preferred.
RN experience in a Cardiac ICU, ED, Cath Lab and or EP experience is strongly preferred.
Registered Nurse RN is required upon hire.
ACNP - Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification is required upon hire.
APRN - Advanced Practice Nurse is required upon hire.
NP - Nurse Practitioner is required upon hire.
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly is required.
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support is preferred and is required within 90 days of hire.
