Position Summary:Provides analytical staff services to assist in the completion of program/project functions.Provides community advocacy and outreach work.P osition Key Accountabilities:

Establishing connections and making introductions between me and key community members

Planning, organizing, and performing community needs assessments under the guidance of research staff and relaying those findings with detailed notes to the team

Researching and informing our office about current news and community events of interest in the Houston area

Working with current student organizations to leverage community relationships with the goal of creating opportunities for UTHealth students to mentor and engage with community members

Researches, collects and analyzes large amounts of information to present data relevant tostudiesor projects.

Provides staff support to assist various committees.

Prepares written or database reports and ensures that information is in a format that will facilitate the studies or projects.

Edits materials and reports

May maintain project database records and back up project files.

May gather materials and prepare requests for Grants and Proposals in timely submission for needed funding.

Reviews literature, conducts interviews

May assist others in the office as needed with other duties as assigned.
