- Oversee all Onboarding, Technical and Renewal unit functions (Companies: Direct Marketing, First Command, ESD, UA, GNY, FHL, LNL, and Globe)
- Ensure all department utilized systems are working as expected, see resolution with IT as problems arise
- Oversee and/or complete Upper Management requests, ensure their accuracy and timeliness
- Coordinator and/or Leader for all current and future key initiative projects. Contact person for IT unit testing and implementation
- Cultivate positive relationships with Upper Management, Department Managers and Field Representatives
- Mentor Supervisors and staff to ensure that future company leaders are identified and cultivated
- Ensure department functions fluidly with the appropriate headcount and within budget
- Oversee the monthly account reconciliation process to ensure that all company money due from the field agents is recouped. Calculate projections of unrecoverable company expense
- Oversee the Functional Area Recovery Management process. Ensure team members are aware in advance of expectations in the event of an emergency
- Maintain the department time via Kronos
- Oversee completion of annual staff reviews
- Liaison for IT when in depth review and/or changes are necessary for systems and or core functionality
- Oversee Department of Insurance State Audit process to ensure timeliness and accuracy to avoid unnecessary fines
- Seek proactive resolution to all situations that arise, providing process improvement suggestions and error avoidance solutions when applicable
- Suggest enhancement to current licensing system(s). If programming required, write up DPR and cost savings for approvals and processing
- Thorough use of technology. Use and involved with the training of business applications to enhance department productivity and efficiency
- Communicate information on a timely basis
- Responsible for the coordination of the activities of staff
- Determine department readiness and meet objectives and assignments through data processing systems
- Phone calls/email - answer questions and resolve problems - suggest alternatives
- Resolve problems/answer questions from department employees regarding various system problems or accounting
- Ensure employees in Managers charge are properly trained, aware of company/department policies and procedures
- Develop methods to ensure the timeliness and efficiency of the work flow and assigned task
- Communicate to Executive Management with a sense of urgency any problems with their staff, work flow, other departments, other company staff, emergency or unsafe situations, and company equipment
- Work with Supervisors to develop training guidelines, material, methods and classes
- Point of contact for Sales Executives, Recruiters, Directors, Agency Owners, General Agents, and Agents which requires the involvement of Department Management
- Oversee maintenance of IT commission systems and daily production error corrections
- Additional responsibilities as assigned by Executive Management
- Involvement in coordinating stages in Licensing Systems testing and implementing
- Liaison activities with Sales, Accounting, Marketing and IT
- Correspondence and telephone communication with agents and state insurance departments

- Type 40-45 wpm
- Good math aptitude
- Versed in use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, SharePoint, PowerPoint or comparable software applications. Able to process and train others to complete mail merges, database queries and advanced spreadsheet development.

- 40-hours on site work week; works a defined work schedule
