The AWS Global Services Training & Certification (T&C) team is seeking a skilled product manager to lead the development and launch of AI/ML-based analytics products for AWS internal customers.In this role, you will be part of the growing Business Insights and Analytics team, working closely with teams across AWS T&C, AWS Global Services, and other AWS organizations. You will be responsible for understanding the needs of our internal AWS customers (such as sales and marketing), evaluating the performance of our current advanced analytics portfolio, and identifying opportunities to enhance business performance. You will define requirements, analyze data to develop strategies and business cases, and help determine prioritization while managing the advanced analytics product roadmap.The ideal candidate will have product management experience, an understanding of the latest AI/ML technologies, solid data analytics skills, and the business acumen to translate complex analyses into actionable business insights. You will regularly present your ideas and recommendations to senior executives and build collaborative relationships across multiple teams. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for success in this role.Key job responsibilities

Dive deep with customers (internal) to understand the opportunity and identify the quantifiable business outcome. Translate the customer problem statement into product definition.

Conduct user research to formulate hypotheses and run experiments. Use the validated learnings to iterate and continually increase value for customers.

Partner closely with fellow data/research scientists and business intelligence engineers to develop the advanced analytics products.

Write detailed business cases and requirements to deliver to leadership and other stakeholder teams.

Be the voice of the customers; engage directly with our customers (such as AWS sales and marketing) to understand their needs, use cases, and priorities.

Engage with the customers to enable them to fully leverage the developed advanced analytics products so they can innovate in their jobs.

3+ years of product management experience

Experience managing technical products or online services

Experience in product, program, or project management in leading cross-functional teams in delivery of major new products or services

Experience communicating with senior business leaders, both verbally and in writing

Preferred Qualifications

Experience building and analyzing cost/benefit scenarios and business cases and communicating results throughout the organization

Understanding of statistics, data query, and latest AI/ML techniques

The base pay for this position ranges from $104,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
