Middle Market Banking & Specialized Industries - Business Analytics AssociateJ.P. Morgan is seeking talented candidates for the role of business analytics associate role in our Middle Market Banking & Specialized Industries group.Your primary responsibilities will include leading the management and development of various data initiatives for the organization to improve processes and sales outcomes.The ideal candidate will have:

Experience leading data driven efforts to increase business growth in support of sales and / or financial operations

Working knowledge of

Strong communication skills and the ability to distill information and results into simple concepts and actionable insights for a variety of audiences

Job Responsibilities

Manage a high-volume and high-complexity reporting and analytics book of work, leveraging project management discipline.

Develop a deep understanding of systems and processes in order to extract insights from existing data.

Translating high-level operational business needs into actionable intermediate or complex design analysis

Define, design and development of automated strategic data solutions (e.g., Alteryx, SQL, R, Python).

Presenting recommendations to management and business partners (including business implications) and determining how to best summarize and visualize the results.

Champion the best practices of code reviews, version control, business requirements documentation, data quality, and issue tracking.

This position requires excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain key relationships and work well with team members, clients, and senior executives - effectively communicating with them at their level of analytical/technical understanding.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:

3+ years of relevant work experience as a business analytics professional in the area of business intelligence delivery and reporting, process improvements, and project management.

Bachelor's degree in Business or related field (Economics, Engineering, Physical Sciences, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics).

Competent in the use of data technology to solve complex business problems, with hands-on expertise in the use of multiple Business Intelligence toolsets and database platforms, examples include Alteryx, SQL, R, Python, RPA.

Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills.

Proven ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy - proven ability to produce quality results timely.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills - ability to summarize findings into concise, high level points geared towards the audience and visually depict key data and findings.
