- Support DTCC applications by providing monitoring, application, and system support for DTCC's production application services client facing environments.
- Provide 24x7 support for event monitoring, incident triage and partner concern
- Provide support to all applications on a shift basis, handling any activity for any region within the local time zone coverage.
- Implementation of efficiencies and improvements to standard processes and procedures such as automation through scripting, programming, etc.
- Contribute to projects by executing task deliverables and ensuring permit-to-operate (PTO) guidelines are met.
- Support for change management and execution of DTCC's production application services.
- Disaster recovery test planning and execution - application environment review, shutdown, start, verification, troubleshooting.
- Client support team engagement to assist with application related incidents, client testing and integrations.

- Support risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; raise appropriately.
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in application support or related field
- Extensive experience with application support - basic programming skills, log reading and analysis
- Solid understanding of different technologies and applications.
- Programming and scripting - ability to establish automation, write scripts (Perl, Python, Chef, Puppet) or implement system solutions.
- Expertise of system administration - system configuration management, resource sharing, operating system fundamentals.
- Cloud Computing - AWS, Cloud Watch, Cloud Formation, Azure
- Bachelor's degree in technical/computer field or related experience required
- Knowledge of application support - basic programming skills, log reading and analysis
- Experience in managing multiple platforms (Operating systems - UNIX, Linux, Windows)
- IT Certifications - CISSP, Linux, CompTIA, OCP, etc.
- ITIL certification is a plus but not required
- Scheduling technology experience (Auto-sys, CA Scheduler)
- Understanding of different technologies and applications:
- Database - Oracle, Sybase, MS SQL, DB2, Snowflake
