Job Description:

As a Part-Time Collection Specialist, you will be responsible for managing overdue accounts, contacting customers to secure payments, and maintaining accurate records of collection activity. Your role is crucial in helping the company recover outstanding balances while ensuring respectful and professional communication.

Key Responsibilities:

· Send monthly statements to all customers.

· Contact delinquent accounts via phone, email, or mail to follow up on overdue payments.

· Negotiate payment plans or settlements within company guidelines.

· Maintain detailed records of all collection efforts in the company’s database.

· Provide excellent customer service while addressing customer concerns professionally.

· Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to debt collection.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent is required.

· Previous experience in collections is preferred.

· Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

· Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly desirable.
