As an ArcGIS Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing spatial data solutions using Esri's ArcGIS software suite and Esri's Portal and Server. You will work closely with GIS analysts, data scientists, project managers, and other developers to create efficient, effective, innovative GIS solutions. Responsibilities:

  • Delivers complex solutions to issues which might include but are not limited to Architecture, Configuration, Security, Performance, Scalability, Reliability, Infrastructure, etc.
  • Responsible for all technical aspects of the GIS solution
  • Drives and delivers strategic architecting & implementation using Esri and Microsoft technologies
  • Recommends how specific technologies, standards, methods, and techniques are to be used throughout the solution delivery
  • Design, develop, and implement GIS web applications using Esri's ArcGIS suite of software
  • Develop custom ArcGIS web applications using the ArcGIS API for JavaScript, Python, .NET
  • Work with GIS analysts and data scientists to understand spatial data requirements and design data models and workflows that meet those needs
  • Develop and maintain geoprocessing scripts, tools, and models for automating GIS workflows
  • Work with project managers to identify project requirements and ensure the timely delivery of solutions
  • Develop and maintain documentation for GIS solutions
  • Stay current with emerging GIS technologies and best practices
  • Bachelor's degree in GIS, computer science, geography, or equivalent years of work experience
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience developing GIS solutions using Esri's ArcGIS software suite
  • Experience with ArcGIS Online and Portal for ArcGIS
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, including ETL skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience developing custom ArcGIS applications using the ArcGIS API for JavaScript, Python, .NET
  • Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Server
  • Knowledge of database systems (SQL and PostgreSQL)
  • Experience with web development (CSS, jQuery, Bootstrap)
  • Experience with geospatial analysis
