In this role you will be responsible for assisting the director of education and quality assurance in operational support. You will be driving company learning initiatives and meeting department objectives through team management and support.

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Establishes in partnership with the Director, departmental performance goals and measures to evaluate success of assigned area of responsibility.
  • Assists the Director in formulating and implementing policies and procedures.
  • Oversees the day-to-day operations and leads training managers
  • Provides guidance and direction to management team and training staff
  • Leads and contributes to the development and execution of an overall division learning strategy and roadmap, linked to the overarching RCPS Operational Strategy, that helps our organization and its people sustainably grow and develop for the future.
  • Supports and drives long term plans and solutions related to operational onboarding and refresher training.
  • Drive the development and implementation effective processes and mechanisms that support effective, ongoing role-based development across the company.
  • Help develop over time a culture of coaching and mentoring across the organization by support the High Performance Coaching initiative and continued design and delivery of relevant coaching and mentoring processes and solutions.
  • Oversee measurement and evaluation processes to monitor organizational learning.
  • Partner closely with other internal support teams to ensure alignment and integration of best practice sharing across the organization.

  • Act as a coach and partner to theeducation and business teams, helping develop their learning capabilities to be able to support the business effectively.
  • Adheres to and supports organizational IT&S standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Adheres to Code of Conduct.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Occasional travel to meetings required

Qualifications

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Education or related field required
  • If a desired applicant does not have a Bachelor's Degree the requirement can be waived IF they are currently in a Bachelor’s Degree program

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum three years management experience, specifically leading education or training activities and teams
  • Certifications desired in training management, instructional design, etc.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) to oversee and report on training courses
  • Experience with incorporating learning methodologies
  • Healthcare experience preferred
  • Team development and upskilling
  • Focus on learner experience
