Audio Visual Technician

Our client is looking for an Audio-Visual Technician who will provide AV tech support on site to corporate office and remote support for sites off premises. This candidate will coordinate the videoconferencing sessions for team members. The AV Technician will be responsible for checking the videoconference systems prior to any session, coordinate problem resolution, train users, and attend to incidents in a timely manner. This candidate might have to set up and alter room arrangements including tables, seats, and stages according to blueprints, layout diagrams, and schedules. Skills and Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in video conferencing troubleshooting and set-up
  • Specifically Zoom
• Industry knowledge of audio and video equipment (cable boxes, AV receivers, media players, microphones, power speakers, mixers)
• General knowledge of IP network equipment (Ethernet and AVB cables)
• Understanding of computer systems (macOS and PC operating systems)
• Previous experience with ServiceNow preferred
• Able to work with various computer technology required
• Previous enterprise environment experience preferred
• Strong organizational skills - able to manage tools, wiring, cables, and parts to methodically sort and install
• Great customer service skills - able to interface with clients and team members to make sure their meetings are set, and that equipment is functioning
• Able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Able to stand, walk, possibly climb ladders, and navigate tight spaces
