Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Software/Hardware QA in Odessa, Florida. Working in the food and beverage, tire and rubber, petrochemicals, plastics, and related industries, this role involves the use of complex control systems and primarily Rockwell Automation products. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain process control solutions for material handling and batching systems. Execute PLC programming of control systems and monitor their performance. Operate with Rockwell Automation Control Logix platform of automation controllers (PLCs) and FTView (SE and ME) platform of HMI applications. Handle field instrumentation connected to our process automation control systems. Configure, tune, and startup complex control systems at project sites as required. Assist in the training of client personnel in system operation. Interpret Process Flow Diagrams, Process and Instrumentation Diagrams, and Electrical Schematics. Work with Rockwell Automation FTBatch software when necessary. Utilize the Rockwell Automation Plant PAx object library when required. Exercise strong communication skills and a cooperative team attitude in all tasks. Requirements Proficiency in using Rockwell Automation and Rockwell Software Experience in HMI Programming and HMI Software Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to achieving high levels of quality Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred Proven track record of developing and implementing effective QA strategies Knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and cases Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus Strong organizational and leadership skills.Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
