job detailsjob summary:We're seeking an Automation Product Specialist to serve as a critical liaison between Automation, end users, and field sales teams. This role requires a technically skilled professional with a solid understanding of automation equipment-such as VFDs, PLCs, HMIs, contactors, servos, and related components. You'll leverage your expertise to support customer needs, provide product training, and facilitate new product releases.location: Round Rock, Texasjob type: Permanentsalary: $75,000 - 100,000 per yearwork hours: 8am to 4pmeducation: Bachelorsresponsibilities:

Visit customer sites to assess product needs, discuss application requirements, and offer technical guidance on our Automation products.

Deliver hands-on training sessions, either onsite or at our factory, to ensure customer proficiency in our products.

Assist in planning and executing new product releases, and developing product presentations and demonstrations for customers and sales teams.

Provide insights and feedback on product quality and design to support continuous improvement.

Attend industry trade shows to boost product visibility, support sales initiatives, and gather market intelligence.

Collaborate with the Controls Product Manager on day-to-day operations, and handle technical issues independently when possible.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.

2-5 years in the automation industry, with hands-on experience in VFDs, PLCs, and motion control servo systems

Expertise in automation equipment and field bus protocols.

Familiarity with HMI, servo systems, and contactors.

Proficiency in developing and delivering technical presentations.
