Position: Automation Testing Coordinator

Location: Houston, TX (16452-1)OnsiteJob Description:

Establish a testing strategy and plan and run the testing space on a large-scale ERP transformation program, O&G / SAP4 Hana experience would be a plus,

Jira and automated testing experience is a must have,

prefer SQL for Teradata to snowflake migration experience. This is a hybrid role, we would prefer the lead is onsite at least 2/3 days a week to mimic the current team schedule, during testing times this lead would be onsite to oversee testing activities.

Responsibilities• Plan and manage the Testing strategy / approach with the ability to feed into an overarching plan• Identify dependencies / risk tied to the overarching plan and raise those to PMO• Manage and initiate testing logistics onsite and offsite.• Support the preparation of the performance test environment, coordinate with team members to ensure development of materials necessary• Ability to scale alongside a fast-moving environment• Coordinate directly with team members to ensure successful completion / execution of the test plan• Tracking testing status and milestones using Jira• Manage the delivery of the project documents and quality of deliverables for overall testing adhering to all audit requirements• Resolve and track critical issues / failures to minimize project risk factors – escalate as necessary• Communicate early and often with clients, sub-contractors, and vendors to establish cordial/effective working relationship• Report on project progress and communicated relevant information to stakeholders

Business Analysis• Quickly understands the business issues and data challenges of client's organization and industry• Identifies client organization's strengths and weaknesses and suggests areas of improvement from a testing perspective• Facilitates large workshops / testing sessions• Reviews and edits requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solution

Required Skills•

5-10 years’ work experience in Upstream, Midstream and/or Downstream oil and gas is preferred• Overall test strategy and implementation experience• Ability to manage a large-scale engagement, including test planning and coordination alongside program BA’s• Possesses critical thinking, decision-making and problem-solving skills• Excellent communication skills written and verbal• Ability to adapt to different roles and clients effectively• Works collaboratively with team• Ability to manage technical or functional teams

Nice to Have Skills• Supervisor experience/role• Strong leadership skills• MS Proficient• ISTQB Certification

This is a 12+ month project with the possibility of additional extensions.
