Job Title: Line Maintenance TechnicianJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Line Maintenance Technician with a well-rounded knowledge of aviation maintenance. This role involves disassembly and assembly of gear turbo fan engines, engine parts, and sub-assemblies, as well as performing post lease inspections, borescope measurements, and maintenance tasks.Responsibilities
Conduct visual inspections and inventory engine parts.
Install parts to upgrade engines.
Perform detailed measurements using a borescope.
Disassemble and assemble engines and sub-assemblies.
Carry out maintenance, inspections, repairs, and services on engines.
Interpret technical drawings and work from maintenance manuals and operation procedures.
Use measuring instruments to check dimensions.
Communicate effectively with managers, field representatives, and airline mechanics.
Complete, update, and maintain records of all maintenance performed in accordance with FAA or other regulatory agency procedures.
Resolve customer in-service issues and understand customer engine maintenance and repair preferences.
Develop internal service center procedures to align with FAA and other regulatory agency requirements.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 3 years of prior experience with GTF (gear turbo fan) engines, V2500, and PW4000 or other commercial engines.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and use measuring instruments.
Effective communication skills to interact with managers, field representatives, and mechanics.
Ability to complete and maintain records in compliance with FAA procedures.
Capability to resolve customer issues and develop service center procedures.
Powerplant license required.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or associate’s degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience.
Experience with PLI (Post Lease Inspections).
Familiarity with borescope procedures and equipment.
