Ideal candidate will have some experience with EMS (Event Mgmt Software).Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7am-4pmSUMMARYTelehealth Coordinator is a position within the FM RAF CS Telehealth department The position is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of service to clients while providing routine operational support in UT M. D. Anderson's Television Operations Center ("TOC") supporting videoconference and other department services, MDA-TV, MDA-Internet TV, streaming video, and related activities on MD Anderson's extended Campus. The Telehealth Coordinator will perform duties in association with updating scheduling databases, and operating TOC and room equipment.JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES

Communication a. Maintains exceptional communication skills throughout all functions of client interaction and inter/intra departmental personnel. b. Maintains confidentiality of proprietary information.

Daily Operations a. Schedule, configure and monitor interactive videoconferences with local and international clients. Includes entering event requests into resource scheduling systems, evaluate meeting requirements, perform systems compatibility testing and troubleshooting, act as technical liaison between requester and local/international clients and facilities and monitoring the quality of such activities. This includes the operation of various equipment necessary to provide the above services. b. Provide videoconference room and classroom support. This includes but is not limited to room systems' configuration, relocate support equipment to meet client's needs, room system technical operations to include live switching of video and audio feeds, acting as a facility host, and securing the room at the end of the event. Tear down and return equipment properly to appropriate storage areas. c. Operate in a knowledgeable and efficient manner, all equipment and systems used in daily TOC and room activities. Included but are not limited to, preparation for distant site and on campus transmission, routing of audio/video signals to the appropriate destination, operational/setup of video conferencing equipment (codecs, MCU and monitoring). Also included is the operation of computer systems used to configure equipment, monitor systems and generate reports used in the above activities. d. Provide assistance to patients and staff when they encounter problems viewing scheduled programs or using the Video-On-Demand Patient Education System. This includes but is not limited to giving instructions over the telephone. e. Periodic duties include, but not limited to, various clerical activities including providing for the data entry and report generation for periodic activity reports, monitoring and assistance with maintaining operating standards for all videoconference rooms, record video conferenced programs and operate standard office machines. May occasionally assist engineer engineering staff in minor maintenance and trouble-shooting of Control Room and conference room equipment. f. Ensure adherence to operational standards for events at MD Anderson's extended campus. Ensure Life Safety standards and ADA guidelines are followed. g. Submit and coordinate with Manager the follow up on 3-5000 facilities tickets
