Must be W2 employee of TechStar Group and job will require the person to initially work a hybrid model working both remote and on-site as needed. Description:
- Reverse engineer existing systems, data structures and data flows
- Lead the design of new system databases in AWS and data sync between AWS and on prem databases
- Lead Performance optimization efforts of new databases by discovering bottlenecks and addressing the root cause
- Work with Development team including QA to identify data inaccuracies and provide guidance to mitigate the root cause
- Document database design and end to end integrations data flows
- Strong Oracle experience along with PL/SQL, AWS RDBs (Aurora) and NoSQL (DynamoDB) databases
- Experience with AWS NoSQL Workbench for DynamoDB
- Hands-on experience with database performance optimizations
- Experience with AWS AppSync
- Experience with GraphQL
- Ideal candidate will have a certification AWS Certified Database - Specialty
- Experience with Oracle SQL developer, erwin data modeler (v9.6 or higher)
- Experience with data quality tools
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
- Excellent communication skills
