Offers of Employment are contingent on a successful background check Allied Consultants is an equal opportunities employer.ResponsibilitiesThe State Health Analytics and Reporting Platform (SHARP) project is intended to expand the capacity of current client's analytical infrastructure. An integrated approach to data services will aid in providing the most current data to inform decision makers about the health and readiness statuses of jurisdictions across the state. The SHARP platform will facilitate the sharing, reporting, and analytics of the data collected from various ingested datasets.All work products resulting from the project shall be considered “works made for hire” and are the property of the client. Client may include pre-selection requirements that potential Vendors (and their Workers) submit to and satisfy criminal background checks as authorized by the Texas law. Client will pay no fees for interviews or discussions, which occur during the process of selecting a Worker(s).SHARP is hosted on the AWS cloud infrastructure and uses AWS IaaS and PaaS services extensively. This position is required to support, maintain, monitor, secure, and improve those services. Job responsibilities include:
  • Create, implement, and manage the development of scripts to automate everyday operations
  • Monitor and maintain multiple environments for increase observability
  • Coordinate system migrations and system upgrades working with agency's public cloud manager.
  • Develop tools to continuously improve maintainability, monitoring, security and scalability of cloud deployments.
  • Operations support and enhancement of the SHARP platform
  • All other duties as assigned.
