You will need solid hands-on experience in cloud-based technologies, with an understanding of how to leverage technology to enable the business become more secure and efficient. Help evolve our cloud capabilities while also evolving your own capabilities to support expansion and implement new technologies.Work on major migrations from on-prem to the Azure Cloud for remote offices and data centers as well as modernization projects, new data warehouse projects, migration from Redshift to Snowflake, and Blockchain efforts.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead and develop best practices for Cloud Engineer team.
  • Plan, design and implement resilient, secure, and high-performance cloud-based applications.
  • Collaborate with development and engineering teams to plan and migrate on-premise applications to cloud platforms.
  • Manage private and public cloud environments with a focus on orchestrating and automating cloud-based platforms
  • Work in a collaborative environment demonstrating technical leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Educate teams on the implementation of new cloud-based initiatives
  • Stay current with industry trends, technologies and best practices to make recommendations to help the company excel.

BACKGROUND
  • Strong experience provisioning Dev / Test / Prod Infrastructure as code using Azure CLI PowerShell ARM templates and/or Terraform.
  • Expertise deploying infrastructure applications and SDN through CI/CD pipeline using Azure DevOps
  • Experience with Python coding with knowledge of web services
  • Experience with networking and internet protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP and distributed networks.
  • Database migration experience, including knowledge of SQL and NoSQL, and related data stores such as Postgres.
  • Experience with Active Directory and Domain Administration.
  • Experience working with Windows, Linux/UNIX, as well as, containers (Docker/Kubernetes).
  • Experience with RESTful-API’s are a plus.
  • Azure Certifications, such as AZ 400 Microsoft Azure DevOps Solutions HIGHLY PREFERRED and AWS Solutions Architect and/or Cloud Security Certification, are a plus.
