We are currently seeking a Sr. BI Developer Analyst for our Houston, TX office.OBJECTIVE:Design, develop, implement, and maintain Azure data warehouse solutions, ETL jobs, dashboards and reports.Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:(This list is not exhaustive and may be supplemented as necessary by the Company)Work with business groups to understand reporting and other data requirements, identify data source systems including ERPs, and develop related technical specifications and data architecture.Design and develop data marts within the data warehouse as needed to store incoming business data.Work with data source system owners to understand incoming data, and design and implement data extracts as needed.Develop Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) jobs to accept, convert, and store incoming business data into respective data marts.Develop automated checks to ensure data integrity and generate notifications to report on any data anomalies, Raise any potential data integrity or regulatory compliance issues to IT Management and the business.Develop reports and dashboards as needed.Work with IT Infrastructure team to design and implement best practices for user access to data within the data warehouse as well as for any published reports and dashboards. Develop, co-author and maintain data dictionaries to support master and transactional data management.Take ownership of building and maintaining the data warehouse, and act as Technical Lead for all BI projects.Work with contract BI Developers as needed, when implementing larger projects.Perform other duties as assigned.Required Minimum Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Related field of study4-6 year's of related work experienceDemonstrated experience working as a data / business intelligence developer using Microsoft SQL data warehouse and writing ETL jobs using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).Developing data models using SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).Developing and distributing reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).Developing reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI.Experience in providing data analysis, identifying data related business needs, and providing practical and workable solutions.Working with contract BI developers on larger projects.Preferred Qualifications:Education: Master's Degree in Information Technology or Related field of study6-8 year's of related work experience1-3 year's of supervisory experienceExperience with implementing business intelligence and data warehousing solutions in Microsoft Azure environment.Implementing ETL jobs in Azure Data Factory (ADF).Experience with Azure Analysis Services.Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics.Experience presenting technology recommendations from a business perspective Requirements Microsoft Azure, SSIS, SSIS - SQL Server Integration Services, SSIS ETL Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
