Role OverviewWe are looking for someone who can execute our vision and strategy in the merchandising area as a Beauty Buyer. Do you have experience with sourcing and buying beauty products? Strong multi-unit buying background with experience in beauty product sourcing and buying is a must. Knowledge of product development both domestically and internationally. Must be able to work in a 24/7/365 environment and be available on weekends and evenings as per business needs and during peak times. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse international clientele. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Effective decision skills making to achieve results. Ability to work as necessary during evening/weekend hours for specific shows or for guest appearances. Good negotiation and persuasion skills. Thorough understanding of the merchandising process, product development, and product lifecycle. Natural ability to make things happen around you. You manage project ambiguity, complexity, and obstacles in an organized and structured way. Be able to define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products. Detail-oriented with great organizational skills - balancing multiple projects, deadlines, and requests should be second nature to you. A positive and professional attitude with a team-player outlook and an outgoing, friendly, and approachable personality. The ability to work independently in and adapt to a fast-paced environment, think critically, manage multiple priorities, and adhere to strict deadlines. Strong team interpersonal skills and experience interacting with vendors. Track record of success in creating a profitable merchandise mix utilizing forecasting, inventory management, and assortment planning. Physical Requirements Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding and ramps Moving around to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces. Remaining in a stationary position, standing, or sitting for prolonged periods. Frequently lift 20-50lbs and occasionally lifting 50 to 70 pounds.
